 Algebra 1 (9)
Prerequisite: Teacher recommendation 

 1 year       

            This course completes the 2nd half of Michigan Merit Curriculum course/credit requirements for Algebra 1. Topics include reasoning about numbers, systems, and quantitative situations; calculation, algorithms and estimation; measurement and precision; expressions, equations, and inequalities; functions; mathematical modeling; and bivariate data-examining relationships.

   
 Algebra 1
Prerequisite: Teacher recommendation 

  1 year      

            This course provides the Michigan Merit Curriculum course/credit requirements for Algebra 1. Topics include reasoning about numbers, systems, and quantitative situations; calculation, algorithms and estimation; measurement and precision; expressions, equations, and inequalities; functions; mathematical modeling; and bivariate data-examining relationships.

   
 Algebra 1 Support

 1 year      

          This course is designed to provide students with extra assistance in mastering Algebra 1 concepts. Credit in this course will be recorded as an elective credit. Only students currently enrolled in Algebra 1 may take this course.  

   
 Geometry 10
Co-requisite Geometry Support 
Prerequisite: Successful completion of Algebra or teacher recommendation

 1 year     

 

           This course presents the Michigan Merit Curriculum course/credit requirements for Geometry. Topics include number systems and number sense; representations and relationships; calculations using real and complex numbers; measurement units, calculations, and scales; mathematical reasoning; language and laws of logic, and proof. This course requires that the additional Geometry support class be taken simultaneously for 1 elective credit.  

   
Geometry 10 Support 
Co-requisite Geometry 10

 1 year     
 

        This course is designed to provide students with daily assistance in mastering Geometry concepts. Credit in this course will be recorded as an elective credit. Only students currently enrolled in Geometry 10 may take this course.

   
Geometry 
Prerequisite: Successful completion of Algebra I or teacher recommendation

 1 year

Prerequisite: Successful completion of  Basic Algebra & Basic Geometry or teacher recommendation

          This course presents half of the Michigan Merit Curriculum Course/Credit requirements for Algebra 2. Topics include reasoning about numbers, systems, and quantitative situations; calculation, algorithms, estimation; measurement and precision; expressions, equations, inequalities; functions; mathematical modeling; figures and their properties; univariate data-examining distributions; samples, surveys, experiments; probability models and probability calculation. 

   
Algebra 2 (12) 
Prerequisite: Successful completion of Intermediate Alg. or teacher recommendation

 1 year     

 

         This course completes the Michigan Merit Curriculum Course/Credit requirements for Algebra 2. Topics include mathematical modeling; figures and their properties; univariate data-examining distributions; samples, surveys, experiments, probability models and probability calculation. 

   
Algebra 2 
Prerequisite: Successful completion of Geometry or teacher recommendation

 1 year     
     

          This course presents the Michigan Merit Curriculum Course/Credit requirements for Algebra 2. Topics include reasoning about numbers, systems, quantitative situations; calculation, algorithms, estimation; measurement precision; expressions, equations, inequalities; functions; mathematical modeling; figures and their properties; univariate data-examining distributions; samples, surveys, experiments; probability models and probability calculation.

   
Pre-Calculus 
Prerequisite: Successful completion of Algebra 2 or teacher recommendation

 1 year     
    

         This course presents the Michigan Merit Curriculum Course Credit requirements for Pre-Calculus. Topics include functions; exponential and logarithmic functions; quadratic functions; polynomial functions; rational functions and difference quotients; trigonometric functions; vectors, matrices, and systems of equations; sequences, series, and mathematical induction; polar coordinates parameterizations, and conic sections.

   
Calculus 
Prerequisite:  Successful completion of Pre-Calculus or teacher recommendation

 1 year     
 
    

          This course presents a study of the mathematics pertaining to the rate of change and associated topics. Included are derivatives, their applications, and basic integration techniques.

   
Advanced Math Support 

 1 year     

         This course is designed to provide students with extra assistance in mastering Algebra II, Pre-Calculus, or Calculus concepts. Credit in this course will be recorded as an elective credit. Only students currently enrolled in Algebra 2(11), Algebra 2 (12), or Pre-Calculus, or Calculus may take this course.
