Mr. Guza is a native of the Thumb. Born and raised in Port Austin, Michigan, he attended and graduated from the Port Austin Public Schools. Furthering his education, he attended Central Michigan University and Eastern Michigan University. Mr. Guza holds a bachelors degree in Mathematics, from Eastern Michigan University's college of Education. He also is in possession of a certificate from Michigan State University in computers for education. For his masters work, Mr. Guza chose Marygrove College where he earned a Masters in the Art of Teaching degree. Life long learning is essential, in the current world, so in addition to being instrumental in the securing of calculators from the Cass City schools, Mr. Guza is contemplating further ways to use technological tools to enhance the educational environment in his classroom.
