I earned a Masters Degree in Secondary Administration from Saginaw Valley State University in 2005 and am currently the Assistant Principal/Athletic Director for Cass City Public Schools. I have been at Cass City since 1980 and have taught a variety of classes at the High School level. I graduated from Central Michigan University in 1977 with a Bachelor of Science in Education degree. My major is in History and my minor is in Physical Education with an emphasis in coaching.
While at Cass City I have coached J.V. and Varsity Football, Boy's Track and Field, and Varsity Wrestling. My experience as a starter on the Central Michigan University Wrestling team has helped me tremendously when it comes to coaching high school athletes. The teams that I have coached have won a number of league and district titles through the years.
I have helped formulate many of the districts educational policies ranging from attendance/discipline to athletics
I chose the field of education as my career because I truly enjoy teaching young people. As an administrator I have been afforded the opportunity to help guide students and the district toward even greater success in the future.
