I graduated from Bowling Green State University with a B.S. in Education, majoring in Art with a minor in English. I taught in a variety of schools before coming to Cass City. Teaching has taken me from Ohio to Australia and finally to Michigan. I am a Region 11 Liaison of the Michigan Art Education Association which is a group of art educators who are devoted to promoting visual arts in our state.
