I was born and raised in Cass City and I’m a graduate of Cass City Schools. I attended Saginaw Valley State University and earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education. I also have a Master’s in Reading from SVSU. 

     I have been teaching for Cass Public Schools since the Fall of 1989.  I can not believe that I have been teaching 20+ plus years.  I have never regretted going into the field of Education. Each day is different and full of learning experiences for my students and me. I especially like teaching children to read and write and to help them discover the joy of literacy.

     When I am not teaching, I enjoy my family. I am married and have 2 children.
