I am the Campbell Elementary Music Teacher.  I teach music to all students, Young 5s through 4th grade.  The Campbell Elementary Day Care also comes to music once a week for a 30 minute session of musical fun!

My goal is to create a caring, creative classroom setting. My lessons include hands-on, thought provoking projects and activities. I work with the regular classroom teachers to provide music and art extension activities that support the core curriculum.  I try to present information in an exciting manner that will encourage a life-long love of learning and a growing appreciation for music. 

I graduated from Western Michigan University in 1999. I have a Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education with minors in science, math, and creative arts including art, music, theater, and dance. I also have a ZA in Early Childhood Education.  I completed my Masters Degree from Saginaw Valley State University in 2006. I have taught third grade and kindergarten in the past, but have been teaching music here at Campbell Elementary School since 2006.

I am the mom of three amazing children, Hugh, Claire, and Oliver.  My husband, Ryan, is a teacher at Cass City Middle School.  In my free time I enjoy photography, scrapbooking, reading, and baking.
