Classroom Placement Forms

The classroom placement forms will be available Monday, May 4, 2026.

The forms will be in the Cass City Elementary office. Once the form is complete please turn it back in to the Elementary Office no later than Friday. May 29, 2026.

We will not be accepting any forms after Friday, May 29, 2026.

MSTEP Dates

Cass City Elementary will be administering the MSTEP (Michigan Student Test of Educational Progress) on the following dates:

Wednesday and Thursday, April 29 & 30th - 5th Grade

Tuesday, May 5 - 4th/5th/6th Grade

Wednesday, May 6 - 4th/5th/6th Grade

Thursday, May 7 - 3rd Grade

Tuesday, May 12 - 4th/5th/6th Grade

Wednesday, May 13 - 4th/5th/6th Grade

Thursday, May 14 - 3rd/4th Grade

Please have your child in attendance on these dates, rested and ready to go. Thank You!

Kindergarten/Young 5's Registration 2026-2027

Registration for Kindergarten/Y5's will start Monday, April 13, 2026 in the Elementary Office during regular school hours.

Child must be 5 by September 1, 2026

At that time packets will be available.

Current GSRP students will register through their current teacher. There is no need to come to the elementary office to pick up a packet if you are in Cass City GSRP at this time.

Fourth grade after school math support with Mr. Hollocker is offered on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Sessions start immediately after school and conclude at 4pm.

2025-2026 School year information

Breakfast will be served starting at 7:35 a.m. each morning. There is no supervision until 7:35 am. Non breakfast students should not be dropped off before 7:45 a.m..

School starts at 8:00 a.m. and students should be in their seats at this time.

Once again, parents will not be allowed to walk their child to the classroom in the morning. If anyone needs to come into the building they must report to the office.

Student's will be dismissed by 3:08 p.m..
