Wireless Devices and Smartwatches

Reminder: Wireless Devices and Smartwatches

We would like to remind families of the requirements under MCL 380.1303a of the Michigan Revised School Code, which took effect for the 2026–2027 school year. Students are prohibited from using wireless communication devices on school grounds during instructional time.

In addition to cell phones, smartwatches are also not allowed to be worn at school. Please review these expectations with your child and help ensure smartwatches are left at home.

Thank you for your cooperation and support in keeping our classrooms focused on learning.

PTO Fundraiser - Donkey Basketball

The PTO is hosting Donkey Basketball on November 8th! Doors open at 3:00 PM and the game starts at 4:00 PM.
Advance tickets are $10 each and are available at Independent Bank, Thumb Bank & Trust, and online by going to the Cass City Red Hawk PTO Facebook page and clicking on the link.

2026-2027 School Year Information

Once again, parents will not be allowed to walk their child to the classroom in the morning. If anyone needs to come into the building they must report to the office. If you have any busing questions please call the Bus Garage at 989-872-5618.

Breakfast Time and School Time
Breakfast will be served starting at 7:35 a.m. each morning. There is no supervision until 7:35 am. Non breakfast students should not be dropped off before 7:45 a.m..

School starts at 8:00 a.m. and students should be in their seats at this time. Student's will be dismissed by 3:08 p.m.
